XP in a 2,88Mb floppy disk?

If you were surprised to see Windows XP running on a 5Mb sized ISO image then how about a smaller image that fits nicely on a 2,88Mb floppy disk?

AeroXP has taken another step into the minimization of his NCLI (Native Command Line Interface) development which is automated on wb as the WinRoot project and this promissing developer is now presenting a newer and slimmer compressed version.

It can be found here --&gt; <a href="http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?s=&amp;showtopic=3537&amp;view=findpost&amp;p=26008">[link] </a>

To suceed on this task it was employed the usage of Windows 2003 boot files which allow to boot compressed images - this process was initially designed for PXE booting over LAN but can also be extensively used on ISO images for making smaller footprint images.

If you want to test this project and help AeroXP getting it better and better - do visit the above mentioned link and report back your results trying out this project.

Who can say that XP is bloated now? - excellent! :)
